Was driving on I95 about 200 miles from home when my transfer case decided to explode (literally) . It took out linkages and brackets, driveshafts etc. Had to leave car at tow facility until the next morning so it could be towed to Tim's shop for repairs . Being a 22 year old jeep, Tim said he would have to cobble new and used parts, and quoted me a price. After a week he called up and said car was ready ,and $100 less than he quoted me. If you ever break down 100"s of miles from home, you should be as lucky as I was to find an honest, reliable shop as Good Deal transmissions. .
Thanks to Tim and the crew at Good Deal

I was referred to Good Deal transmission to look at my 2006 Pontiac Solstice for intermittent hard up/down shifting. I dropped my car off and after a few hours received a call stating that the car was running fine. We decided to allow one of the mechanics to drive the car home as the problem usually started after 10-15 minutes of driving. The next morning i received another call and said the issue happened and the mechanic did some research and suggested that i change both the intake and exhaust sensors ($50 each). No issues were down with the transmission. I went to pick up the car and the charged me $0!!! I finally down a place where the people are friendly and HONEST. Which is very hard to find anymore... oh and i did replace the sensors and the problem went away.!!
